Gaia a New Collection...

We have decided to call this Collection Gaia, as it represents Mother Earth and its organic growth of life.  As the Collection grew organically from melting down recycled sterling silver and hand crafted into spiraling shells.  Rings, Earrings & Pendants are set with large colourful crystal or stitched with silver or 18ct gold wire.

A Secret Collection....

Joy's art works were inspiration to my Tribal Collection... her childhood memories growing on the grasslands of Africa's game parks... Antelopes, known as dik-diks, galloping!  Her stories gave me ideas designing & handcrafting... shield earrings that pivot and winged mask rings & face bracelets!  These appeared at 'Treasure' London Jewellery Week 2010 !  A Secret Collection no more!

Story of the Flames....

The myth... Phoenix raising from Ashes was inspirational to Flame design & making of this accessory for catwalk stylist in autumn 2007.  We set to work crafting a crutch piece using 500gm of sterling silver.... Tactile statement piece speaking volumes.  Unfortunately! Usual stylist was taken ill & a replacement was in, who felt it might be too sexy & provocative!  Our answer... but isn't this exactly what is wanted to get noticed & talked about!!!!!!!!!  No, play safe & boring!
Instead we decided to use it in our shoot!   It was used in a playful way by Rachel our model... who had fun & enjoyed this piece...
Oh yes!  The following season the stylist in question was replaced!  And, we created small every day neckpieces to enjoy, own & wear!  To date it has proved most popular; client group age ranging from 16 to 60.... from school girl to barrister!

And the moral of this story is........ You decide?
                                                                         The End!
